The college was established in 1977 by the Borno State Government.
Mission
To provide courses of study, training and research in Agriculture, forestry, Animal Health and Production, Home and Rural Economics, Pest Management Technology, and Extension and Farm Management at Certificate, National Diploma and Higher National Diploma Levels with the ultimate purpose of providing services to Community
