The Campus is located in Homabay County, adjacent to the Level V hospital.

Year of Establishment:
The Campus was established in July 1979 as a School of Community Health Nursing under the Ministry of Health.

Inception and Growth:
The first class of Certificate in Community Health Nursing (KECHN) was started in 1979 after independence to help the country fight the burden of disease among the rural population.
