•  Kwararafa University, Wukari  
  Course entry requirements:
  (i) Admissions through the UTME
  For admission to 100 level, candidates must possess five (5) credit passes at Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE), GCE, NECO or equivalent in relevant subjects in not more than two sittings; and obtain a score of 140 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
  
  -University shall insist on possession of credit passes in English Language and Mathematics for all categories of students.
  -The University shall also conduct post JAMB screening to ensure that only the best students are admitted. In addition to the general admission requirements stated above, a candidate must meet specific departmental requirements
  
  (ii) Admission through Direct Entry mode
  -For admission to 200 level, candidates must possess five (5) passes at credit level (including English Language) at Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE), GCE, NECO or equivalent in relevant subjects in not more than two sittings.
  -In addition to the above, candidates should have at least two advanced level passes in the General Certificate of Education examination in relevant subjects, or
  -Ordinary National Diploma with credit level or Nigeria Certificate of Education (NCE) with Credit level.
  -Passes in two IJMB/JUPEB courses out of the three
  
  Admissions into 300 level
  Candidates with HND, or third class degree can apply for admission into 300 level.
  
  IJMB
  Kwararafa University also offers the Interim Joint Matriculations Board (IJMB)programme. It is a nationally recognized one year programme which offers successful candidates the opportunity of gaining Direct entry (200 level) admission into any of the Universities
  
  (iii) The entry requirements for IJMB
  For admission to IJMB, a candidates must possess four(4) credit passes at Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE), GCE, NECO or equivalent in relevant subjects in not more than two sittings.
  
  The subjects offered at IJMB include: Lit. in English, History, CRK, Government, Economics, Business Studies, Accounting, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Geography, Agricultural Science, among others.
  
  A combination of any 3 subjects grants admission to study for degrees in:
  -The Natural Sciences
  -Health Sciences
  -Engineering
  -Agricultural Science
  -Social and Management Sciences
  -Humanities
  -Arts
  -Law
  
•  Obong University, Obong Ntak  
  Course Entry Requirements:
  -In order to obtain a B.Sc. degree in Economics under the four-year programme, a student must successfully complete courses up to a minimum of 130 credit hours and a maximum of 144 credit hours. At least eighty (80) of these credit hours must be in courses offered by the department (core courses).
  
  -To obtain a B.Sc. Economics degree under the three-year programme, a student must successfully complete courses up to a minimum of 103 credit hours and a maximum of 117 credit hours. At least 74 of these credit hours must be in courses offered by the department (core courses).
  
  -A student must take the number of units indicated in the programme per semester. A credit unit can be defined as one hour of lectures; one hour of tutorial; two hours of seminar; three hours of laboratory or fieldwork; six hours of teaching practice and four hours of industrial attachment where applicable.
  
  -A student must satisfy the departmental requirements in his/ her selection of compulsory and optional (elective) courses. A compulsory (or required) course is one a student must take and pass in. In other words, no student who fails a compulsory course can be awarded a degree. An optional (or elective) course is one where a student must take but not necessarily pass in. This is to say that, a student who fails in an optional course can still be awarded a degree. Should a student find it necessary to leave an optional course taught in the department for another course taught outside the Department, the permission of the Head of Department must be sought /obtained.

  Course entry requirements:
  
  (a) U.T.M.E Requirements
  -UTME subjects include Use of English, Mathematics, Economics and any other social sciences subject. Candidates must have had a minimum of five credits at Ordinary Levels (SSCE/NECO) or equivalent with the qualifying subjects including credits in English, Mathematics, Economics, and any other two social science subjects. The pre-degree programme of Christopher University or of any other universities recognised by the Senate can be considered having satisfied the UTME requirements
  
  (b) Direct Entry Requirements
  In addition to meeting the U.T.M.E requirements, candidates seeking admission into the 3-year Direct Entry programme, any of the following qualifications can be considered:
  -Higher National Diploma (HND) in all aspects of Business and Financial Studies;
  National Diploma (ND)/NCE with at least a lower credit in all aspects of Business and Financial Studies;
  -A holder of Christopher University Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Mass Communication, Public Relations & Marketing, and Public Administration or equivalent diploma from a university recognised by the Senate with at least a lower credit;
  -GCE Advanced Levels/IJMB/JUPEB advanced level with passes in at least two subjects from Economics, Mathematics, Business Studies, Accounting, Geography, and Government
  
  Course duration:
  -3 years for Direct Entry
  -4 years for U.T.M.E
•  Precious Cornerstone University, Ibadan  
  Course entry requirements:
  (i) UTME (JAMB): Candidates applying for admission into the University through JAMB UTME must have a minimum score of 160, with subjects English, Economics, Maths, Economics, commerce/Business Methods. Post-UTME screening will be conducted for interested all interested candidates to ensure that only the best students are admitted as well as to maintain high educational standards.
  
  (ii) O’Levels: The candidate must have not less than five credit passes (at one sitting) or six credit passes (at two sittings ) in Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) or General Certificate Examination Ordinary Level (GCE, ‘O’ Level) organised by the West African Examination Council (WAEC) or the National Examination Council (NECO), including English and Mathematics. Five Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics Economics, commerce/Business Methods for all categories of students seeking admission is mandatory.
  
  (iii) Direct Entry: As from the second phase of development, General Certificate Examination Advanced Level (GCE A’ Level) holders with a minimum of 9 points plus ‘O’ Level English and Mathematics, OND with a minimum of credit pass; or graduates of recognised related programmes may be considered for a direct entry. Candidates need Two ‘A’ Level passes including Economics.

  Course entry requirements:
  -Current Unified Tertiary Matriculations Examination (UTME) Result
  -Five O' Level (WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB and IGCSE) Credit Passes at one sitting to include English Language, Mathematics, Literature in English, and any other 2 Social Sciences or Arts Subjects are required for admission into College of Law.
  -Five O' Level (WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB and IGCSE) Credit Passes at one sitting to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology are required for admission into the MBBS Programme.
  -Other Programmes: Five O' Level (WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB and IGCSE) Credit Passes at not more than two sittings to include English Language, Mathematics and three (3) other subjects relevant to course of study.
  -Results of PAST Unified Tertiary Matriculations Examinations (UTME) are not allowed.
