  (i) Direct entry
  
  Admission criteria
  -O level Results: – Credits in the following subjects; English, Biology, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
  -A level Results:- A principal pass in Biology and two subsidiaries in Chemistry, Physics, Food and Nutrition and Mathematics. Apply using JAB forms
  -Conform to the standards of Medical fitness by the Training Authority and Public Service.
  -Age limit 18 yrs and Above

  (ii) Extension
  
  Admission criteria
  -One must have enrolled with Uganda Nurses and Midwifery Council and with a working experience of at least 2 years:
  -Enrolled Nurse or Enrolled Midwifery or Enrolled Comprehensive Nurse and /or enrolled psychiatry Nurse -Should be at least in possession of “O” level certificate
  -Pass a pre-entry Ministry of Education and sports Oral and Written Interviews.
  -Age limit -Open

  Diploma in Midwifery (Extensor)
  
  Course entry requirements
  Applicant must have had at least two years experience in the clinical area and not more than (10) years in service. Has been verified and found fit for the course.
  
  An applicant must either be:
  
  a) Registered Psychiatric Nurse
  
  b) Enrolled Comprehensive Nurse
  
  c) Enrolled Midwife.
  
  d) Registered Nurse
  
  Course duration: 18 months

  (i) Direct
  -Applicants must have completed 'A' level with at least 1 principal pass in biology, and 2 subsidiaries in Physics, Chemistry, Agriculture, Math, obtained at the same sitting.
