  Applicants are expected to possess any of the qualifications below:
  
  (a) Five ‘O’ levels as follows: English Language and any four subjects from the following:
  (i) History
  (ii) Geography
  (iii) French
  (iv) Literature in English
  (v) Mathematics
  (vi) A Zambian Language
  (vii) Civic Education
  (viii) Religious Education
  (ix) Wood Work
  (x) Metal Work
  (xi) Geometric and Mechanical Drawing
  (xii) Home Economics
  (xiii) Art and Design
  (xiv) Computer Science
  (xv) Economics
  (xvi) Commerce
  (xvii) Additional Mathematics
  (xviii) Biology
  (xix) Chemistry
  (xx) Physics and any other acceptable subject
  
  (b) Diploma in Adult Education of the University of Zambia or of any recognized institution of higher learning or its equivalent
  
  (c) Diploma or First Degree or any degree of the University of Zambia or of any university recognized by the University of Zambia
  
  (d) Diploma of the University of Zambia obtained through Extension Studies.
•  Zambian Open University, Lusaka  
  Entry Requirements:
  
  • Five “O” level credits including English Language or a Zambian language.
  • Three “O” level credits with a Diploma in Education or a Diploma from a tertiary` institution recognized by the University.
  
  • (Concessionary Admission) 45 years of age and above with proven evidence of participation in continuous learning through short
  
  courses, seminars and conferences
  
  • Any other qualification as may be determined and approved by the Senate.
