•  Mountain Top University, Makogi Oba  
  Admission requirements:
  Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or its equivalents with credit level passes in five (5) subjects at not more than two (2) sittings. The candidate must also earn an acceptable score in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
  Candidates seeking admission by Direct Entry into 200 level must have at least five (5) O’ level credits, with a minimum of two (2) relevant subjects at Advanced level or approved equivalents.
  A. Admission Requirement: Four-Year Degree Programme in Economics
  
  The Four Year Degree Programme in Economics
  
  Candidates must have obtained credit passes in five subjects at a sitting or six subjects at not more than two sittings at ‘O’ Level/Senior Secondary Certificate (WAEC, NECO etc.) Examinations. The credits must include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two subjects in Arts or Social Sciences.
  Candidates must take at the UTME, English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other Arts of Social Sciences subjects.
  Candidates must succeed in Screening Test.
  
  
  B. Admission Requirement: Three-Year Degree Programme in Economics.
  
  
  
  To be considered for admission into the 3-year degree programme, candidates must have passed, at credit level, five subjects including English Language, Economics and Mathematics at the Senior Secondary School Certificates/GCE Ordinary Level or its equivalent; as well as Economics and at least one of Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Accounting, Business Management, History or Government at the G.C.E, Advanced level.
  
  (Note: Commerce is not one of the subjects accepted in the Department of Economics)
•  Glorious Vision University, Ogwa  
  Admission requirements:
  For admission into 100 level, candidates must possess credit level passes in five subjects at the SSCE/GCE O'Level/NECO/NABTEB or equivalent, obtained in not more than two sittings. The subjects passed must include English Language and Mathematics for the Sciences & Management Sciences programmes and English Language for the Humanities Programmes Candidates awaiting SSCE/GCE O'Level/NECO/NABTEB results may also apply provided the result would be available at the time of Matriculation.
  
  (B) Direct Entry into 200-Level:
  Candidates for admission into 200-level must have, in addition to requirement for admission into 100-level, passed G.C.E(A/L) in 2 relevant subjects or passed NCE, OND, HND or equivalent at not less than lower credit level.
  
  (C) JAMB REQUIREMENTS
  100 Level Candidates are required to sit for the 2017/2018 UTME of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and attain the prescribed cut-off marks. This is a statutory requirement for admission into Samuel Adegboyega University. Applicants are to ensure that their UTME subject combinations qualify them for their chosen programmes. Direct Entry candidates must obtain the JAMB Direct Entry Forms. Candidates, who did not choose Samuel Adegboyega University initially in their 2017 UTME but are interested, are also eligible to apply for admission and participate in the admission screening exercise of the University.
•  Madonna University, Okija  
  Admission requirements:
  A candidate seeking admission into the B.Sc. programme in Economics has to satisfy both university minimum entry requirements, and departmental requirements. The basic entry requirements into Economics Department are clearly spelt out by the NUC, and further elaborated in the Madonna University General Academic Rules and Regulation (MUGARR). Admission is usually through Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), direct entry, inter university transfer, or inter departmental transfer.
  
  For admission through UTME, candidates must possess at least five O’ Level credits in SSCE, GCE, NECO or their equivalent. These credits must include English Language, mathematics, Economics, and any other two subjects in not more than two sittings.
  
  In addition, the candidate must have acceptable scores in the Unified Matriculation Examination (UTME). Candidates for direct entry admission must in addition to satisfying the above basic requirements, possess at least two “A” level passes or any of the following qualifications OND, HND from recognized polytechnics or a B.Sc. degree from recognized University

  All Candidates applying for the 100 Level Undergraduate Programmes at KolaDaisi University, Ibadan, must possess a minimum of five (5) ‘O’ Level Credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings in SSCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB or equivalent. Candidates awaiting results may also apply.
  All applicants are required to have sat for the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and must meet the required national Cut-Off score.

  Admission Requirements
  For admission into 100 level, a candidate must possess the senior Secondary School Certificate or equivalent with credits in five subjects at one sitting only. He/she must also have an acceptable score in the joint admission and matriculation examination or its equivalents.
  For direct admission into 200 level, a candidate must posses at least two advanced level passes in the west African General Certificate of Education or equivalents in addition to credits in five subject or the Senior Secondary School Certificate or equivalents.
  In all cases (i.e. (1) and (2) above) credit in English Language and Mathematics are required.
  All candidate seeking admission into the college of social and management science must pass a written or oral interview conducted by the college.
•  Federal University, Dutsin-Ma, Katsina  
  Entry requirements:
  UME Entry:
  Candidates for admission into the four – year (8-semester) degree in Economics should possess a Senior Secondary School Certificate, General Certificate of Education, NECO or their equivalents with at least five Credit passes, at not more than two sittings including Mathematics, English Language and Economics. In addition, candidates must have acceptable passes in UME.
  
  Direct Entry:
  Candidates for admission into the three-year (6-semester) Direct Entry category shall possess five Credits in GCE, SSCE, NECO or their equivalents, of which at least two shall be at Advanced Level, provided that such passes are not counted at both levels of the examination. For emphasis, Credit passes in English Language, mathematics, and Economics are required.
•  Umaru Musa Yar'adua University Katsina, Katsina  
  Admission requirements:
  UTME:
  Five credit passes at SSCE (or its equivalent) in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two from Commerce, Government Geography, Accounting/Book Keeping, Marketing or Insurance in not more than two sittings.
  
  Direct Entry:
  
  Candidates with a minimum of 9 points in IJMB/ HSC/GCE A level in Economics and any other two Social Science or Management Science Subjects. NCE in Economics and any of Mathematics, Geography, English or History.
  
  Candidates with a minimum of Lower Credit pass in National Diploma in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Purchasing and Supply, Economics/ Cooperative and Insurance from recognized institutions may also be admitted.
•  Federal University, Birnin Kebbi, Birnin Kebbi  
  Admission requirements:
  Candidates for admission into the four – year degree in Economics should possess a Senior Secondary School Certificate(SSCE), General Certificate of Education (GCE), NECO or their equivalents with at least five credit passes, at not more than two sittings including Mathematics, English Language and Economics. In addition, candidates must have acceptable passes in UME.
  
  Direct Entry.
  Candidates for Direct Entry admission shall possess five Credits in GCE, SSCE, NECO, or their equivalents, of which at least two shall be at Advanced Level, provided that such passes are not counted at both levels of the examination. For emphasis, credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and Economics are required.
•  Obong University, Obong Ntak  
  Admission requirements:
  For admission into 100 level, (UTME) candidates must possess five (5) credits at SSCE, General Certificate of Education (GCE), NECO or its equivalent in Mathematics, English Language, Economics and two other subjects in not more than two sittings; and score acceptable points in the UTME in relevant subjects. In addition, candicates must have acceptable passes in UTME.
  For admission into 200 level (Direct Entry), candidates should (in addition to having five (5) SSCE credit passes as in i above), obtain a minimum of two (2) A level (or its equivalent) passes in Economics, have an OND or HND or possess a good first degree in a relevant field as the case may be.

  Admission Requirements:
  The minimum entry requirement for undergraduate programmes at Oduduwa University is credit level passes in 5 subjects at the O’Level examinations. The subjects must include English Language, Mathematics and one relevant subject obtained at not more than two sittings. There are other requirements peculiar to some certain colleges and departments.
  Prospective students must attain the UTME cut off mark.
  2 or 3 A' Level Credit Passes are required.
