  Course entry requirements:
  (a) SSSCE Candidates
  -Passes in three (3) elective subjects.
  A credit in Literature in English will be an advantage.
  
  (b) WASSCE Candidates
  i) Must possess credit passes (A1– C6) in six (6) subjects comprising three core subjects, including English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science OR Social Studies, plus
  
  ii) Must possess credit passes (A1 – C6) in three (3) elective subjects.
  
  A credit in Literature in English will be an advantage.
  
  (c) GCE Advanced Level Candidates
  -Passes in three (3) subjects (at least, one of the passes should be Grade D or better).
  Also, the applicant must have had credit passes (Grade 6) in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects including English Language, Mathematics and a Science subject (for non-science students) and an Arts subject (for Science students).
  
  (d) Mature Candidates
  Candidates must be at least 25 years by August 1 of the academic year s/he wants to enrol.
  
  
  (e) Post Diploma Candidates
  Candidates must possess a Diploma in a relevant subject from a recognised institution.
  The class obtained should be B average or better.
  Post-Diploma candidates will be admitted to Level 200.

  Course entry requirements
  
  i. Candidates must have passes in at least two Elective Arts subjects: Literature in English, Ghanaian Language (Akan/Ewe/Ga), Music, Religious Studies, History/Government.
  ii. Applicants who intend to read B.A. (Theatre Studies) as their major subject must have a good pass (not below C6) in Literature in English at the WASSCE.
