•  Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso  
  Admission requirements:
  Admission to 100 level is on the basis of performance in the University Matriculation Examination (U.M.E.) conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) or good performances in the Pre-Degree Science Programme final examination.
  In addition, candidate must have at least five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology at the S.S.C.E/G.C.E O'Level or its equivalent in order to qualify for admission into any of the faculties. For this purpose, a combination of credit passes at ”0” Level in five science subjects and at not more than two sittings is acceptable.
  Candidates are also required to fulfill such faculty and department entry requirements as may be prescribed from time to time.
  
  Admission by Direct Entry
  Admission to 200 level by Direct Entry is based on the performance at the G.C.E. ”A” Level Examination or its equivalent. Applicants with any of the following qualifications may be considered for admission by Direct Entry, provided all the five subjects at '0' Level are obtained at not more than two sittings;
  ND with upper credit/HND/N.C.E. at credit level in relevant subjects (plus U.M.E. requirements) may be considered for admission into the 200 Level.
  Penalty for Gaining Admission with Falsified Credentials/Certificates
  Candidates admitted to the University are seriously warned in their own interest, not to present false credentials/certificates to the University for their admission. The laws that established LAUTECH empowers the Senate to deprive any person of any degree, diploma or other award of the University which has been conferred upon him/her if, after due enquiry, it is discovered that the candidate has fraudulently gained admission into the University or obtained that award.
•  Caritas University, Enugu  
  Entry requirements:
  The minimum University entry requirement (i.e. five credits in WAEC, SSCE or GCE O/L), candidates for admission by entrance into the five year programme must have obtained credit inn the West African School Certificate, SSCE or in the General certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Candidates seeking direct admission into the first year of the four-year programme must satisfy the conditions stated above. In addition, they must have passed in at least two subjects in one sitting in the General certificate Education (Advanced Level) or in the higher school certificate (Principal Level). The two subjects should be selected from the following: Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematic, Pure and Applied Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Engineering drawing. Candidates may also be admitted into the four year programme if they posses at least lower credit in Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or other equivalent or higher certificate passed at the credit level. Notwithstanding all the above requirements, candidates who passed recognized professional experience such as craftman with technical college background or industrial apprenticeship and who have credit in the West African school certificate or in General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry, may be admitted if they pass the JAMB
•  Osun State University, Osogbo  
  Admission requirements:
  1.UTME Requirements
  
  To qualify for admission into the programme in the Department, a candidate must possess at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE or NECO (O’ Level), obtained at not more than two sittings, which must include the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any one of Biology/Agricultural Science/Further Mathematics/Technical Drawing.
  
  Candidates with acceptable passes in the Pre-Degree Programme Examination of the Osun State University and that have an acceptable pass in the UTME may also be admitted into the 5-year degree programme.
  
  2 Direct Entry Requirements
  
  Candidates with passes at the Advanced Level (A-Level) in relevant subjects, which must include Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and those with OND, NCE (Upper Credit) and HND (minimum of lower Credit) from any higher institution recognized by the University Senate may be admitted into the 200-level and 300-level respectively, provided such candidate fulfill the UTME admission requirements of the Department.
  
  Candidates with acceptable passes in the Foundation Programme of Osun State University may also be admitted into the 200-level, provided such candidate fulfill the UTME admission requirements of the Department.

  Admission Requirement:
  
  A Utme Admission:
  
  Admission to first year (100 level) of the programme is through Joint Matriculation Examination. To be eligible for admission, candidate must possess the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level). National Examination Council certificate of West Africa Senior School Certificate or its equivalent with at least five credit passes in subject which include Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English Language at NOT more than two (2) sittings. UTME subject: English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.
  
  B Direct Entry Admission:
  
  In addition to the requirement specified in (a) above, candidates seeking admission to second year (200 level) of the programme through direct entry must possess:
  
  (I) National Diploma at Upper Credit level or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines from a recognized institution, or
  
  (II) General Certification of Education (Advance level) or equivalent with good passes in at least two subject at a sitting which must include Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
  
  However, admission to appropriate level shall be made on any other minimum entry qualifications as may be stipulated by the university.
•  Madonna University, Okija  
  Admission requirements:
  Admissions into the B.Eng. Degree in Mechanical Engineering are through the joint admission and matriculation board (JAMB) and direct entry.
  
  Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination UTME
  
  Candidates should possess five (5) credit passes obtained in not more than two sittings of the senior secondary school certificate examination (SSCE) or the general certificate of education (G.C.E). The five credit passes must include English, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Candidates are also required to have acceptable pass in UTME. The UTME subjects shall be Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Use of English.
  
  Direct entry
  
  Candidates should in-addition to the requirements for admission in UTME above be in possession of the higher school certificate or the G.C.E. advanced level passes in mathematics, physics and chemistry. Holders of OND/ HND certificates with upper credits are eligible for admission are eligible for admission into 200 and 300 levels respectively.
•  Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma  
  Entry requirements:
  1.The degree programmes in Engineering and Technology normally last five years, post school certificate or equivalent.
  2.For admission to all degree programmes, candidates must satisfy the admission requirements of the University in general, and of the various departments of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology in particular.
  3.Entry through the University Matriculation Examination (UME), the Minimum entry requirements for year I or 100 level shall be 5(five) credit passes in the School Certificate Examinations, GC.E. O’ Level, or equivalent obtained in English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and any other subject from the approved list, plus acceptable level of performance in the University Matriculation Examination (U.M.E.).
  4.Direct Entry (D.E.) candidates may be admitted into 200 - Level (year 2) if they have, 1. Satisfied the admission requirements as specified in( c) above and ii. Obtained passes at the G.C.E. A’ Level or equivalent in Physics, and mathematics. Candidates with outstanding N.C.E Technical or O.N.D. results may be considered.

  The minimum entry requirement for undergraduate programmes at Oduduwa University is credit level passes in 5 subjects at the O’Level examinations.
