  Course entry requirements:
  (i) Holder of at least an upper second class honours degree of Maseno University or any other University recognized by the Commission for University Education.
  
  
  (ii) Holder of a lower second class degree of Maseno University or any other University recognized by the Commission for University Education and Postgraduate Diploma of Maseno University or any other recognized University or evidence of at least two (2) years research experience as demonstrated by publication in peer reviewed journals.
  
  (iii) Holder of a pass degree of Maseno University or any other University recognized by the Commission for University Education. and a Postgraduate Diploma of Maseno University or any other recognized University and evidence of at least three (3) years research experience as demonstrated by publications in peer reviewed journals.
  
  (iv) In addition to the above, the applicant must meet the specific requirements of the Masters programme as approved by Senate
•  Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University for Science and Technology, Bondo  
  Course entry requirements:
  (a) Holders of at least an Upper Second Class Honours degree from Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology or any other recognized University in a relevant field OR
  
  (b) Holders of a Lower Second Class Honors degree of Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology or any other recognized university with atleast two years of work/research in a relevant field after graduation.
  
  Course duration: 2 years
•  University of Embu, Embu  
  MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
  Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science with at least Upper Second Class Honours or equivalent from a recognized University, or Bachelor of Education Degree with at least Upper Second Class Honours or equivalent with a major in Biology; OR,
  Bachelors degree as in 1 above with Lower Second Class Honours or equivalent plus at least two years relevant work/ research experience.
