Course entry requirements:
(a) Ugandan Applicants
-Applicants must hold at least a Second Class (BA or BEd. Arts) Degree in Literature from a recognized University or equivalent qualification from other recognized institutions of higher learning.
-In exceptional cases, holders of pass degrees may be admitted to the Programme provided such applicants have studied Literature as an option and can demonstrate academic growth and show evidence of relevant work experience.

(b) International Applicants
-Students whose language of instruction was not in English must have an International English language test system (IELTS) or Test of English as a foreign language (TOEFL) certificate with an overall score of 7.0, or be able to demonstrate an equivalent level. Applicants will also be required to submit a 1500 word essay.
