  (a) Bachelor of Environmental Studies (Community Development)
  
  
  Admission requirements
  
  (i) Applicants must have a mean grade of (C+) in KCSE or its equivalent with at least (C+) in any three of the following subjects: Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, History and Government, Home Science and Agriculture.
  
  (ii) Candidates with C Plain must have a Diploma of at least Credit Pass in a field of study related to the Environment and Community Development. They must also have attained at least (C+) in two of the above subjects.
  
  (iii) A-level candidates must have at least 2 Principles in relevant subjects above.
  Mean grade of C- (Minus) at KCSE and progressed from certificate to Diploma from recognized/accredited institutions.
  
  
  
  (b) Bachelor of Environmental Studies (Planning and Management)
  
  Entry requirements
  
  B- at K.C.S.E. or its equivalent with at least three of their subjects in Geography, Mathematics, Technical Drawing,Economics, Fine Art, Agriculture, Biology, English, Business Studies and Computer Science.
  
  
  (c) Bachelor of Environmental Studies (Resource Conservation)
  
  
  Admission shall be granted to holders of any of the qualifications below:
  
  (i) C+ in KCSE or its equivalent in any three of the following:
  
  Mathematics, geography, biology or biological sciences, physics or physical sciences or chemistry, agriculture.
  
  (ii) A mean grade of C mean grade or Division 3 plus a diploma in environmental related disciplines from recognized colleges and attained a minimum credit grade.
  
  (iii) Mean grade of C- (Minus) at KCSE and progressed from certificate to Diploma from recognized/accredited institutions.

  Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies
  
  Requirements:
  -KCSE mean grade of C+ and a minimum grade of C+ in the following cluster subjects: Alternative A(Biology ,Chemistry,Physics,Mathematics,Geography) or Alternative B (Biological Science,Physical Sciences,Mathematics,Geography,Any other subject from Group III)
  
  -Diploma in a relevant field from institutions recognized by Garissa University Senate
  
  Mode of Study:Regular/weekend
