  Course entry requirements
  1. SSCE/GCE ordinary level or its equivalent with credit passes in five subjects relevant to the programme obtained at not more than two sittings.
  2. Five credit passes in relevant subjects obtained at the final examination of an NBTE recognized Preliminary National Diploma (PRE-ND) Programme offered in a polytechnic or similar tertiary technical institution.
  3. The National Technical Certificate (NTC) or National Business Certificate (NBC) with pass in a trade plus four relevant academic subjects.
  4. A satisfactory score in the UTME examination, which is conducted annually by JAMB.
  5. Holders of the Advanced National Technical Certificate (ANTC) may be given enhanced placement in the ND Programme provided they have also met the minimum entry requirements into the ND Programmes and obtained good grades in the ANTC Examinations.

  Choice of the three subjects will determine the programme in which the candidate will finally enrol for the National Diploma.
  
  b) National Technical Certificate (NTC) or equivalent with pass grades in the relevant trade and passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and two subjects from (a) above relevant to the programme of study.

  Minimum requirements
  Minimum of 5 Credits in O’Level GCE, SSCE of WAEC ,SSCE of NECO or NTC of NABTEB obtained at not more than two sittings from Mathematics, English language, a basic science (Physics/ Chemistry/Biology) and any other two subjects from the following:
  
  (i) Principles of Accounting
  
  (ii) Economics/Commerce
  
  (iii) Chemistry
  
  (iv) Biology/Agricultural Science
  
  (v) Further mathematics
  
  (vi) ICT, Fine Arts/Technical/Building Drawing

  (b) Bricklaying/ Blocklaying

  (d) Carpentry and Joinery

  Applicants are required to have a minimum of four (4) credit passes in GCE ‘O’Level or SSCE of WAEC or SSCE of NECO
  or NTC of NABTEB obtained in Mathematics, and three (3) other relevant subjects as stated
  below.
  
  At least a pass in English Language is compulsory.
  
  In addition to the general entry requirements, applicants must possess credit pass in
  Economics and two (2) credit passes from the following which must include One (1)
  Science subject: Principles of Accounts, Physics, Biology, Agricultural Science,
  Chemistry, Technical Drawing, Geography and Government, Woodwork, Metalwork,
  Block Laying and Concreting.

  (i) Candidates with five O’ level Credit Pass in not more than two (2) sittings and must score a minimum of 150 in 2015/2016 UTME.
  (ii) Candidates with Five O’ level Credit Pass in not more than two sittings but scored below 150 in 2015/2016 UTME.
  (iii) Candidates without UTME but with five O level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings.
  (iv) Candidates with deficiency in one or more subjects in O’ Level Result.
