  The department of Surveying and Geoinformatics aims at producing graduates who are capable of performing functions:
  
  (i) Applying the basic principles of surveying and method in Surveying & Geoinformatics
  
  (ii) Compiling maps at various scales from imageries
  
  (iii) Understanding database creation and management.
  
  (iv) Interpreting spatial measurements from various sources
  
  (v) Operating Surveying & Geoinformatics instruments

  Minimum of four (4) credit passes in GCE ‘O’Level or SSCE of WAEC or SSCE of NECO
  or NTC of NABTEB obtained in Mathematics, and three (3) other relevant subjects as stated
  below. At least a pass in English Language is compulsory.
  
  In addition to the general entry requirements, applicants must possess three (3) credit
  passes obtained from any of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Further
  Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Fine Arts, Building Construction, Statistics,
  Geography, Economics, Commerce, Biology, Agricultural Science, and Basic
  Surveying.
  
  A Credit in Physics is compulsory.

  Candidates with ordinary pass at ND level must have at least two (2) years post ND experience
