  Course entry requirements
  i) Five credits level passes in S.S.C.E. or its equivalent (Grade II TC, NTC/NBC, WASC, GCE, NECO, NABTEB, etc.) in not more than two sittings. The subjects must include Mathematics and any four of the following: Statistics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Geography, Economics, Technical Drawing, Physics and English language. At least, a pass in English Language is compulsory
  
  ii) Candidates who have successfully completed the NBTE recognized Pre-National Diploma (Science and Technology) programme offered by a College of Agriculture or similar post-secondary technical institution provided the students admitted into the Pre-ND programme have a pass in English Language and in other subjects.
  
  iii) In addition to the above, the candidate should have gotten an acceptable score of 180 in UTME/JAMB Examination.
•  Federal College of Agricultural Produce Technology, Kano, Kano  
  Course requirements
  (a) WASC or GCE O’Level or SSCE / NECO /NABTEB with a minimum of five (5) credit passes obtained at not more than two sittings.
  The five subjects must include Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science plus three other subjects from Economics, English Language, Geography, Mathematics, Physics or Statistics. Candidates must in addition obtain at least Credit Passes in English Language and Mathematics or Statistics.
  
  (b) Five credit passes in NBTE recognized preliminary National Diploma Course offered in a Polytechnic or Similar Post Secondary Institution.
  The five Credit Passes must be from the subjects specified in (a) above.
  
  (c) Candidate should have also obtained a minimum of 180 points in the 2016/207 UTME exams.
