  Course entry requirements
  -Five (5) CSEC / GCE subjects including English Language* and Mathematics* with grade I, II or III**/ A, B or C or any equivalency recognized by the University Council of Jamaica (UCJ) or City and Guilds Mathematics and English -Stage 3
  
  -Equivalency courses available to persons who do not have required CSEC/GCE/SSC pass in these subjects.
  
  -Grade III pass in CSEC must be after June 1998
  
  (i) Pathways
  -Flexible enrollment that allows you to further your education with whatever qualification you have in hand. ECC will create a Personal Development plan for each student to achieve their educational goals.
  
  (ii) Mature Entry (all programmes)
  -Candidates over the age of 25 years who do not have the academic qualification required will need to have completed at least five (5) years industry experience and should submit a portfolio.
•  Montego Bay Community College, Montego Bay  
  Course entry requirements
  -5 CSEC/CXC subjects Gen. I, II, III or GCE O’ Level– A, B, C, including English Language and Mathematics and 3 other approved subjects. (Students without CXC of GCE Math are required to sit the Foundation Concepts in Mathematics I and II at an additional cost).
  -Applicants with a lower than a Grade 1 or A in English Language will be required to sit the English Language Proficiency Test (ELPT).
  -Alternate forms of matriculation:
  a) Equivalent qualification (s) as determined by the CCCJ
  (b) Mature status as determined by the CCCJ
  
  Course duration: 2 years
