  The candidate must have obtained at least two Principal passes in Biology and Chemistry at Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education, UACE, obtained at the same sitting. The applicant must have passed ordinary level examinations with credits in English and mathematics at Uganda Certificate of Education, U.C.E) or its equivalency after verification with Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB).
  
  Indirect Entry:
  Holders of a diploma in medical laboratory technology (credit and above) and registered with the Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC) of the Republic of Uganda.
