Institutions Offering Master of Science in Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Diagnostics

•  University of Nairobi, Nairobi  
  Minimum Admission Requirements:
  1. Those eligible for admission into the program shall be holders of the following degree awards of the University of Nairobi or a University recognized by the Senate of the University of Nairobi:-
  i) Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine
  ii) Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery
  iii) Any other non-classified degree/qualification equivalent to any of the above.
  iv) BSc. in Biomedical Laboratory Technology OR equivalent
  v) BSc. in Animal Science, where Clinical Pathology was taken and Passed
  vi) Any other classified degree/qualification equivalent to (iv) above.
  2. Holders of lower second class honours or a pass degree and a postgraduate diploma in areas specified in (a) above from the University of Nairobi or other institutions recognized by Senate.
  3. Holders of lower second class honours in areas specified in (a) above from the University of Nairobi or other institutions recognized by Senate with at least two years relevant post-qualification experience
  4. Holders of a pass degree in areas specified in (a) above from the University of Nairobi or other institution recognized by Senate with at least five years relevant post qualification experience.
  5. Candidates who have obtained degrees from other Universities approved by Senate as being equivalent to one of the degrees stated above.
  6. In addition to producing evidence of eligibility for registration, candidates for the Masters degree program may be required to appear for interviews or entry examinations by the Faculty to determine their suitability for registration.
