  Candidates will be required to have any of the following qualifications:
  Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade of C+ (plus) with at least C+ (plus) or equivalent in Mathematics.
  OR At least two (2) principals and one (1) subsidiary pass at KACE (A Level), with a credit in Mathematics at KCE (O level).
  OR a C (Plain) at KCSE or equivalent with a Diploma in Economics and a C+ (Plus) in Mathematics at KCSE.
  OR mean grade of C- (minus) with at least C+ or equivalent in mathematics at KCSE and progressed from certificate to Diploma in Economics at any recognized/accredited institution.
  
  
  Fee Structure (per academic year)
  East Africans: Ksh 100,000
  Non-East Africans: Ksh 130,000
  Statutory: Ksh 18,000

  Admission Requirements:
  Applicants for the Bachelor of Economics and Statistics degree must, in the first instance, satisfy the general University of Nairobi’s admission requirements.
  
  In addition, they should have obtained a minimum of grade c+ in Mathematics offered in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations, or their equivalents.
  
  Where the equivalents are difficult to establish, a candidate may be required to pass an entrance examination before being admitted into the programme. The pass mark for the entry examination shall be 50%.

  -Minimum grade of C+ (plus) Mathematics and English
  
  Course duration: Eight (8) trimesters
•  Machakos University, Machakos  
  Course Entry Requirements:
  KCSE Minimum Mean Grade of C+ (Plus) with C (plain) in Mathematics and English
  
  Course Duration: 4 years

  Course entry requirements:
  -KCSE Mean Grade C+ (Plus) or KCSE Mean Grade C (Plain) with a Diploma in a relevant field.
