•  Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur  
  Course entry requirements
  (i) STPM (Current Year)
  Passed the STPM; and Candidate must have one (1) of the following qualification:
  
  -Yamaha Certificate Minimum Grade 7;
  -The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
  -Trinity College London (TCL) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
  -London College of Music (LCM) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
  -Grade C in Music subject at the SPM level; or
  
  -Have working experience in music field for at least three (3) years by submitting related evidence; and
  
  
  -Obtained at least Band 2 in MUET; and Passed audition and interview.
  
  (ii) Matriculation foundation
  Passed the Matriculation / Foundation; and
  
  Candidate must have one (1) of the following qualification:
  
  -Yamaha Certificate Minimum Grade 7;
  -The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
  -Trinity College London (TCL) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
  -London College of Music (LCM) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
  -Grade C in Music subject at the SPM level; and Obtained at least Band 2 in MUET; and Passed audition and interview.
  
  (iii) Diploma/equivalent
  Possess a Diploma in Music from one (1) of the following Institution:
  
  -Malaysian Institute of Art;
  -Akademi Seni Budaya dan Warisan Kebangsaan Malaysia (ASWARA);
  -Yamaha Academy of Arts & Music, Malaysia;
  -Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM);
  -Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI);
  -Diploma Associate (ATCL) from Trinity College London (TCL);
  -Diploma The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (DipABRSM) from The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM);
  
  or
  
  
  Have three (3) years working experience in music field and have at least Certificate Grade 8 from one (1) of the following Board:
  -The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM);
  -Trinity College London (TCL);
  -Guildhall School of Music and Drama (GSDM);
  -London College of Music (LCM);
  -Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB);
  
  or
  
  
  Possess at least one (1) of the following qualification in music field:
  -Sijil Perguruan Asas Malaysia and Sijil Khas Perguruan Khas;
  -Diploma Perguruan Malaysi or Passed the STPM / Matriculation / Foundation not the current year by fulfilling the programme’s special requirements as follows:
  Candidate must have at least one (1) of the following qualification:
  
  -Yamaha Certificate Minimum Grade 7;
  -The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
  -Trinity College London (TCL) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
  -London College of Music (LCM) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
  -Grade C in Music subject at the SPM level;
  -Music Certificate that approved by Senate as equivalent; or
  
  Have working experience in music field for at least three (3) years by submitting related evidence; and
  Obtained at least Band 2 in MUET; and Passed audition and interview.
  
  (iv) Other qualification
  Possess a GCE A Level qualification with at least Grade B in any two (2) of the following subjects:
  -Music
  -Music Technology
  -Performance Studies
  -Performing Arts or Passed the Foundation Studies in Creative Arts (ASWARA); and Obtained at least Band 2 in MUET; and Passed audition and interview.
  
  
  Course duration: 3 years
