  Admission Requirements
  There are three modes of admission into the MBBS programme, namely: JAMB Direct Entry (DE), JAMB Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and placement through successful completion of the one-year Remedial Science programme of the University.
  
  Candidates wishing to study MBBS must have obtained a minimum UTME score of 200 with at least five (5) O’level credits at not more than two (2) sittings. The credits must be in the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, English Language, Mathematics and Physics.
  A grade point score of 4.0 and above in the Remedial Science Programme of the University of Maiduguri, with minimum UTME and O’level requirements as in (i) above.
  Candidates with an average of 3.0 “A” level passes at minimum of C in Biology, Chemistry and Physics plus five (5) O/level credits (as in i above) are admitted through the JAMB DE. Also candidates with first class or second class upper degree in relevant courses (Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry).

  Admission criteria
  
  -Applicants must possess five (5) credits passed at SSCE (or equivalent) in relevant subjects (Physics, Chemistry,Biology, English Language and Mathematics), at not more than two (2) sittings and must have scored 170 or above in the 2019/2020 UTME in relevant subjects.
  
  Admission by Direct Entry (200 Level)
  -Candidates will in addition to having five (5) O’ Level credits, MUST possess at least two (2) A’ Level or its equivalent, passes in relevant subjects or possess a good first degree in a related field not below Second Class Lower as the case may be

  programmes such as Physiology, Biochemistry,

  Five O/Level credit passes in English
  Language, Mathematics, Biology,
  Chemistry and Physics.

  Course entry requirements:
  -Five (5) Credits in the required Subjects of the chosen course of study, Including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings.

  -Five O level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
