1. KCSE mean Grade of C – (Minus ) or its equivalent as ascertained by the Ministry of Education and any other requirements as set by the Kenya Nutritionists and Dieticians Instititute (KNDI). The Mandatory subjects shall be:

-D+ (plus) in Chemistry or Physical sciences
-D+ (plus) Biology/ biological sciences
-D (plain) in the following mathematics, physics, home science, agriculture
2. A certificate in Community Nutrition and Dietetics from Gretsa University or any other institution recognised by Gretsa University Senate and KNDI
3. Bridging: A holder of KCSE certificate or equivalent with a minimum of C -(Minus ) but lacking the Mandatory cluster subjects may be required to undertake a bridging course in the respective courses offered at Gretsa University to qualify for entry.
