•  Umaru Musa Yar'adua University Katsina, Katsina  
  Course entry requirements:
  -Graduates of recognized Universities;
  -Holders of Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit pass or its equivalent in relevant areas;
  -Holders of Higher National Diploma (HND) without Education obtained at Credit level with a three years relevant postgraduate experience;
  -Candidates who hold qualifications other than the above, which are acceptable to the Board of Postgraduate and Senate of the University.
  -Candidates with Third Class degree in areas other than Education can be considered after three years relevant postgraduate experience. Those in the Education may be considered in their area of specialization;
  -All candidates shall be subjected to a selection process.
  
  Course duration: 2-4 Semesters
•  Akwa Ibom State University, Ikot  
  Course entry requirements:
  (a) SSC or its equivalent with credit passes in five (5) relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings.
  (b) Bachelor’s degree in any field of specialization with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division from a recognized University.
  (c) Higher National Diploma (HND) in Education with a minimum of Credit Level in any of the teaching Subjects.
  (d) Candidates with Higher National Diploma (HND) at Credit Level in any field of specialization with 3 years relevant post-qualification experience may be considered for admission. (e) Candidates with 3rd Class Degree in any area of specialization, with three years relevant post-qualification experience, may be considered for admission.
•  Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijebu Ode  
  Course entry requirements:
  -Candidates seeking admission into the Postgraduate Diploma Programme should possess a minimum of Third Class in the Bachelor’s Degree or minimum of Lower Credit at the Higher National Diploma (HND).
  
  -First Degree holders irrespective of class of degree who are currently teaching or intend to take teaching as a profession.
  
  -HND graduates irrespective of class of grade who are currently teaching or intend to take teaching as profession.
  
  Course duration:
  (i) Full time-12 Months
  (ii) Part time-24 Months
•  Lagos State University, Lagos  
  Course entry requirements:
  a. Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree of Lagos State University or other Universities recognized by the Senate.
  b. Candidates with Higher National Diploma (not below Lower Credit) from recognized polytechnics or equivalents.
  c. All candidates must possess at least five (5) credits at the Ordinary Level (G.C.E, WASC, NECO) at not more than two (2) sittings or Grade II Teacher’s Certificate in related subjects.
  
  Course duration: Minimum of 2 semesters and maximum of 4 semesters.
•  Kwara State University, Malete  
  Course entry requirements:
  (i) Graduates of Kwara State University or other recognized Universities.
  (ii) Holders of Higher National Diploma (HND) (not HD) with minimum of Credit pass or its equivalent in relevant areas.
  (iii) Candidates who hold qualifications other than the above, which are acceptable to the Board of School of Postgraduate Studies and Senate of the University.
  In addition to (i) – (iii) above, a candidate must satisfy the University’s requirements for matriculation.
•  Adamawa State University, Mubi  
  Course entry requirements:
  (i) Possession of a first degree not less than third class from a recognized University or
  (ii) Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in related field of study, from a Polytechnic or any recognized institution.
  (iii) Possession of a minimum of 5 O’level Credits in related subjects, including Mathematics and English
•  Benue State University, Makurdi  
  Course entry requirements:
  B.Ed. B.Sc (Ed), B.A (Ed) or related discipline with a 2nd Class Lower Division from Benue State University or any University
  recongised by the Senate of this University.

  -Candidate must possess the Higher National Diploma (HND) or its or its equivalent in Science, Technology, or Business discipline from a recognized institution.

  A graduate of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma or any other University of recognized standing who possesses a first degree classification acceptable to Senate.
