Course requirements
(a) Four passes at GCE “O” level / SSCE / NECO, passed at not more than two (2) sittings.
The four passes must include Biology / Agricultural Science, Chemistry and two of the
following subjects;
(i) English Language

(ii) Mathematics

(iii) Geography

(iv) Economics,

(v) Statistics

(vi) Physics.

In addition, candidates must obtain passes in subjects relevant to their proposed field of study.
At least a pass in English and Mathematics/Statistics is compulsory.

(b) Candidates who have successfully completed the NBTE recognized Pre-National
Science and Technology Course may be admitted into the programme.
Such students must have passed Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language at WASC, SSCE or GCE “O” level or NECO before undertaking the course.

Course duration: Two years for full time students and three years for part-time students

Course entry requirements
(i) Five credits level passes in S.S.C.E. or its equivalent (Grade II TC, NTC/NBC, WASC, GCE, NECO, NABTEB, etc.) in not more than two sittings. The subjects must include Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry and any three of the following: Geography, Mathematics, Economics, Technical Drawing, Physics and English language. At least, a pass in English language and Mathematics is compulsory

(ii) Candidates who have successfully completed the Board’s recognized pre-National diploma (Science Technology) course may be admitted into the Programme. Such students must have passed Biology/Agricultural science, Chemistry, Mathematics, English language and any one of the following subjects: Economics, Technical Drawing, Physics and Geography at WASC, SSSC, GCE ‘O’ Level or NECO and NABTEB before undertaking the course.

iii) In addition to the above, the candidate should have gotten an acceptable score of 180 in UTME/JAMB Examination.

Entry requirements
(a) WASC or GCE O’Level or SSCE / NECO /NABTEB with a minimum of five (5) credit passes obtained at not more than two sittings. The five subjects must include Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science plus three other subjects from Economics, English Language, Geography, Mathematics, Physics or Statistics.

Candidates must in addition obtain at least Credit Passes in English Language and Mathematics or Statistics.

(b) Five credit passes in NBTE recognized preliminary National Diploma Course offered in a Polytechnic or Similar Post Secondary Institution. The five Credit Passes must be from the subjects specified in (a) above.

(c) Candidate should have also obtained a minimum of 180 points in the 2016/207 UTME exams.
