  Postgraduate Certificate
  Students take 30 credits:
  IT Sligo: EG6001 Introduction to Sustainability & the Natural Environment (10 credits)
  MU: EG6002 Introduction to Sustainable Enterprise (10 credits)
  UCC: EG6003 Systems Thinking in Environmental Sustainability (10 credits)
  Progression to the MSc in Sustainability in Enterprise (NFQ Level 9, Major Award)
  A student who subsequently wishes to progress to the MSc in Sustainability in Enterprise must complete the program within 3 academic years from the date of successful completion of the Postgraduate Certificate Examinations.
  
  Course Duration: 2 years (part-time)
  
  Entry requirements:
  Applicants must have a primary honors degree (NFQ, Level 8) with at least a Second Class Honors Grade 2 in any of the following: Science, Engineering, Business, Management, Economics, Sustainability or a related discipline (e.g. Finance, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Computer Science or Medicine). Candidates who have completed the Higher Diploma in Sustainability in Enterprise (NFQ, Level 8) are also eligible to apply to the program. Although in most cases interviews will not be required to assess suitability for the program, please note that an interview may be required in some instances. Applicants who do not meet the minimum entry requirements for this course may wish to consider applying for the Higher Diploma in Sustainability in Enterprise (NFQ, Level 8).
  
  Applicants must have a recognized primary degree which is considered equivalent to Irish university primary degree level.
  Minimum English language requirements: please visit Maynooth University International Office website for information about English language tests accepted and required scores. The requirements specified are applicable for both EU and non- EU application.
