  Course Duration: 1 year Part-time
  
  Entry requirements:
  Entry is restricted to applicants who have successfully completed all courses in the one-year Postgraduate Diploma in School Guidance and Counselling (PGDSGC) or equivalent, with a grade of at least Second Class Honors, grade 1 standard. Applicants are expected to submit a thesis proposal of no less than 2,500 words that identifies a research issue, situates the problem in scholarly literature(s), and proposes a plan of research. Applicants must have a recognized primary degree which is considered equivalent to Irish university primary degree level.
  Minimum English language requirements:
  • IELTS: 6.5 minimum overall score
  • TOEFL (Paper based test): 585
  • TOEFL (Internet based test): 95
  • PTE (Pearson): 62
