•  Binyaminu Usman Polytechnic, Hadejia  
  Course entry requirements
  (a) A pass at credit level in any of the five subjects listed below in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or equivalent at not more than two sittings:
  i) English Language
  ii) Mathematics
  iii) Biology/Agricultural Science
  iv) Chemistry
  v) Geography
  vi) Physics
  vii) Economics/Commerce
  viii) Food and Nutrition
  A candidate must also have a minimum of pass grade in English Language, Mathematics and Chemistry or pass at credit level in any of the subjects listed above from the National Business and Technical Education Examinations in not more than two sittings.
  
  (b) A minimum of lower credit pass (CGPA 2.50 and above) in the ND examination in Agricultural Technology, and
  
  (c) A minimum of one year cognate work experience
  
  (D) In exceptional cases, ND diplomates with a pass (CGPA of 2.00 – 2.49) in the ND examination that have two or more years of cognate work experience in the specific field may be considered for admission into the HND programme
•  Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, Plateau  
  Minimum entry requirement:
  a) Five (5) Credit level passes in SSCE/GCE or its equivalent in not more than two (2) sittings. Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics,
  Biology/Agricultural Science and two (2) subjects from the following: Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Economic/Commerce, Food and Nutrition and Technical Drawing. At least a pass in Chemistry and Physic is compulsory.
  b) National Diploma with a minimum of lower credit in Agricultural Technology programmes, Animal Health and Production Technology, Wildlife and Eco-Tourism Management and Innovation Agriculture.
  c) A minimum of one year post National Diploma cognate experience.
  d) In exceptional cases, National Diploma certificate holders with a pass but with two (2) or more years cognate experience may be considered.
  e) The candidate must be from National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) accredited programme.
  f) National Diploma JAMB Admission letter.
  
  Duration: 2 years
•  Federal College of Agriculture Akure, Akure  
  Course requirements
  (i) A minimum of Lower credit pass (CGPA 2.50) and above in the cognate ND examination, National Diploma diplomats examination in Agricultural Technology.
  
  (ii) A minimum of one year cognate work experience, in exceptional cases ND diplomats with a pass (CGPA 2.00-2.49) and two years of cognate experience in the specific field may be considered for admission into the Higher National Diploma programme.
  
  
  Course duration: Two years for full-time students and three years for part-time students
•  Federal College of Agriculture Ishiagu, Ishiagu  
  Applicants wishing to be admitted into this programme must meet the following requirements:
  (i) Credit in English, Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Economics, Geography, Credit/Pass in Chemistry, Physics.
  
  (ii) National Diploma Result, one year I.T (or two years I.T. Report for Students who graduated with pass in National Diploma).
  
  (iii) Transcript of National Diploma Result for Candidates who did their National Diploma in other Schools/Institutions.
