1. Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science (2 Semesters Full Time Study) Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science (PGDCS) is offered in two flavours – the Academic and Professional options.

a. Academic option: Those who choose academic options can advance to M.Sc. in Computer Science provided they make up to 3.5/5.0 CGPA. To qualify for admission, applicants must possess the following qualifications:

i. A University degree in any field of Science, Engineering and Technology with at least Second Class Lower Division.
ii. A University degree in Computer Science with a Third Class.
iii. An HND with Upper Credit in any field of Science, Engineering and Technology.

b. Professional option: applicants must possess the following qualifications:
i. A University degree in any field of Arts, Social and Management Sciences with atleast Second Class Lower Division.
ii. An HND with Upper Credit in any field of Arts, Social and Management Sciences.
iii. A Pass degree in Computer Science
iv. A CFE level in Computer Professional Examinations of Computer Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN).
v. Any qualification for the Academic option.

In addition, applicants must possess five credit passes at the SSCE (or its equivalent) including English, Mathematics and any other subjects that are relevant to their area of initial degrees.

Admission criteria will be as follows, provided that the candidate has five credit passes including English, Mathematics, Physics and any two science
related subjects:
a. Candidates with Bachelor degree or its equivalent in computer sciences, computer education, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or Engineering from a recognized University with a minimum of a third class division.

Full Time runs for a minimum of 2 semesters and maximum of 4 semesters while PGD programme in Computer Sciences on PartTime runs for a minimum of four [4] semesters and maximum of eight [8] semesters.
