  Course entry requirements
  i) S.S.C.E. or its equivalent (Grade II TC, NTC/NBC, WASC, GCE, NECO, NABTEB, etc.) with credit passes in five subjects relevant to the programme at not more than two sittings. The subjects must include the following: Chemistry,
  Biology or Agricultural Science and any three of the following subjects: Geography, Mathematics, Economics, Physics and Statistics. Also a pass in English language and Mathematics / Statistics is mandatory for all applicants.
  
  ii) Five credit passes in relevant subjects obtained at the final examination of an NBTE recognized preliminary ND programme offered by a College of Agriculture or similar post secondary technical institution. Such students must
  have passes in Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language at WASC, SSCE, or GCE ‘O’ level before undertaking the course.
  
  iii) In addition to the above, the candidate should have gotten an acceptable score of 180 in UTME/JAMB Examination.

  Duration: 2 years
  
  Minimum entry requirement:
  Five (5) Credit level passes in SSCE/GCE or its equivalent in not more than two (2) sittings. Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics,
  Biology/Agricultural Science and two (2) subjects from the following: Chemistry, Physics, Fisheries, Geography, Economic/Commerce, Food and
  Nutrition and Technical Drawing. At least a pass in Chemistry and Physic is compulsory
