  Course entry requirements
  (i) A relevant master’s degree (MQF – Level 7) or equivalent from recognized institution of higher learning and candidates must have completed at least 1 of their earlier Degrees (Master’s or Bachelor’s) in Computing or related field; or
  (ii) A relevant master’s degree (MQF – Level 7) or equivalent from recognized institution of higher learning with 2 years’ experience in the domain (including at least 2 publication in the domain) and candidates must have completed at least 1 of their earlier Degrees (Master’s or Bachelor’s) in Computing or related field; or
  (iii) Other relevant qualifications that are recognized and approved by Senate as equivalent to a master’s degree (MQF – Level 7) and candidates must have completed at least 1 of their earlier Degrees (Master’s or Bachelor’s) in Computing or related field; or
  (iv) A relevant bachelor’s degree (MQF – Level 6) registered for master’s degree programmes and approved by Senate;
  -No direct entry from bachelor’s degree level to doctoral degree level.
  -Candidates registered for master’s degree programmes may apply to convert their candidacy to the doctoral degree programmes subjected to;
  -Having shown competency and capability in conducting research at doctoral degree level;
  -Can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment by the university; and
  -Approval by the HEP Senate.
  
  Course duration:
  (i) Full-Time : 3 – 5 years
  (ii) Part-Time : 4 – 7 years
