  -A minimum second-class honours degree Level 8 qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent. As this programme caters for all professions, any Level 8 qualification will be considered.
  
  -Applicants with other qualifications and with relevant work experience may also be considered through IT Sligo’s Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) process

  -Applicants require a Leaving Certificate with a minimum grade C in two higher level papers and grade D in four other subjects. The papers passed must include Irish, English and a third language.

  -Mature students (students over 21 on January 1 of the calendar year of entry) may enter a programme without the above qualifications

  -Mature applicant
  
  or
  
  -Grade O6 at ordinary level in five subjects in the Leaving Certificate examinations. Two of these subjects must be mathematics and a language (English or Irish).
