  Form Four Entry Qualification:
  - Holders of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with four (4) passes in non-religious subjects
  
  Direct Entry Qualification:
  - The candidate attending the MDE programme should at least have the following qualifications: Holder of NTA level-8, Bachelor Degree of Second Lower Class in economics or related discipline; at least Non-NTA Bachelor Degree of Second Lower Class in economics or related discipline for Classified awards or Average of B grade or credit for unclassified awards; or. No-NTA Bachelor Degree of Pass grade in economics or related discipline for classified awards or average of C grade for unclassified awards with Postgraduate Diploma of at least Second Lower Class in economics or related discipline for classified awards or average of B+ grade for unclassified awards; or NTA-level-8, Bachelor Degree of Pass grade in economics or related discipline with postgraduate diploma of at least Second Lower Class.
