  Admission requirements:
  Five GCE ‘O’ Level credits or better in the Zambian School Certificate or its approved equivalent as follows: English Language, Mathematics, and either One or Two of the following subjects: Physical Science or Science, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. Physical Science and Science count as one subject. In addition, applicants may be required to have GCE ‘O’ Level credits or better in any two of the following subjects:
  
  Combined Science
  Additional Mathematics
  Geography
  Geometrical and Mechanical Drawing
  History
  Literature in English
  Human and Social Biology
  A Zambian Language
  Commerce
  Principles of Accounts
  Religious Education
  Agricultural Science
  Computer Science
  Candidates who are holders of the Diploma in Education or other Mathematics and Science teaching Diploma of this University or Institutions recognised by this University may be exempted from the first year of the BSc programme.

  Admission requirements:
  1. Five (5) credits or better in Mathematics, English and a Science related subject plus any other two.
  
  2. Applicants for Bachelor of Education (Textiles and Nutritional Sciences) should have passed in any of the following subjects; Food and Nutrition, Home Management, and Fashion and Fabrics
  
  2. Applicants for Teaching Methods should have obtained a minimum of a Degree

  -One must have a full Grade 12 certificate with minimum five “O” level credits or better which must include English Language or a Zambian Language.
  -A major in Business studies requires Mathematics while a major in a Science requires a Science subject in addition to Mathematics.
