(i) Be not less than 21 years of age.
(ii) Hold a valid class 1 aviation medical certificate issued in terms of Part 67.
(iii) Meet the hour requirements as laid out in SA-CATS-FCL 61.
(iv) Produce evidence of having held within the past 60 months a valid commercial pilot licence with Instrument rating; or in the case of an integrated course a valid student pilot licence.
(v) Have within the past 60 months completed a multi-crew cooperation course.
(vi) Completed and passed all theoretical SACAA ATPL examinations.
(vii) Have successfully completed training as prescribed in SA-CATS-FCL-61 with an approved Aviation Training Organisation and received the necessary letter of recommendation to complete the skills test.

(i) You must be 21 years of age.
(ii) Successfully pass 6 online ATPL examinations at CAA.
(iii) You will need to accumulate a minimum of 1500 hrs of flying, out of which 250 must be as pilot in command (PIC), out of which 100 hrs must be night flight time. A minimum of 75 hrs Instrument flying is also required.
(iv) This will need a considerable amount of time to acquire and is normally gained during your course of employment as a CPL pilot.
(v) You must complete a practical flight test on a multi engine aircraft or a jet aircraft with a Grade I Designated Flight Examiner.
