  A cumulative weighted average of at least 60% for the research component of the relevant master’s degree
  
  Selection Process:
  Selection is done after the closing date, based on the following:
  Candidates who achieved a cumulative weighted average of at least 60% in the relevant master's degree will receive preference
  Relevant academic/work experience
  Interviews with the HoD and programme coordinator to clarify aspects of the application, research concept note or the research interests
  The availability of supervision capacity for the research projects in the department
  
  Duration of study:
  2 years, full-time.
