  BSc (Geology) degree (or equivalent) or BSc (Engineering and Environmental Geology) degree (or equivalent) or relevant bachelor’s degree
  A weighted average of at least 60% in an undergraduate geology programme and another fundamental science at second-year and third-year level (i.e. Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Mechanics).
  
  Selection Process:
  A departmental committee selects the top performing students based upon undergraduate performance
  A limited number of students will be admitted
  Performance during prior studies will be considered in selecting students. Specific attention will be given to modules repeated and duration of study.
  
  Duration of study:
  1 year, full-time.
