  Specific admission requirements:
  • A bachelor’s degree in nursing on NQF level 8, a four-year diploma in nursing or an equivalent nursing qualification on NQF level 7; or
  • A bachelor’s degree in Nursing (R174) and the Diploma in Nursing: General Nurses (R171) with the Advanced Diploma in Midwifery (R1497).
  • Registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse and Midwife (NQF level 8) or a General Nurse with a Midwifery qualification (NQF level 7).
  • Two years’ experience as a Registered/Professional Nurse and Midwife which includes experience in the field of the specialty within the last two years.
  • Computer literacy is highly recommended.
