  (i) At least an O’level certificate has passed English and Mathematics and two advanced level principal passes in the Arts, Sciences, and Commercial subjects of Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education or its equivalent.
  (ii) Has passed National Council for Higher Education / Valley University of Science & Technology set Mature Age Entry Examinations.
  (iii) Holds a Diploma in Secretarial Studies/ Diploma in Office Management and Secretarial Studies from an institution recognized by National Council for Higher Education.
  (iv) Has an advanced certificate in Secretarial Studies with at least 5 core subjects at stage three (3).

  Course entry requirements:
  (i) Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least 5 passes and at least 2 principal passes at Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent OR
  
  (ii) A Diploma with at least a credit/distinction level in the relevant field from a recognized institution or the equivalent,OR
  
  (iii) A mature Age Entry Examinations Certificate accredited by the NCHE with 50% and above.
