Institutions Offering Bachelor of Education in Nursery and Primary Education

•  The University of Buea, Buea  
  Course entry requirements:
  -Teacher’s Grade I Certificate or CAPIEM from a recognized Teacher Training institution
  -General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level pass in at least one subject excluding Religious Knowledge or Baccalaureate
  -General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level pass in at least four subjects, including English Language and excluding Religious Knowledge or its equivalent,
  -English Language Proficiency Certificate obtained from a recognized examining institution for all Baccalaureate candidates and candidates who obtain the BEPC and then move to the General Certificate of Education Examination system at Advanced level.
  -Candidates with Teacher’s Grade I Certificate who passed in Commercial or Technical Education must obtain a pass in Ordinary Level English at the G.C.E
  -Candidates with Teacher’s Grade II Certificate and a pass in at least two subjects at the GCE Advanced Level and four subjects at Ordinary Level as mentioned above or its equivalent.
  -Authorization to study for applicants who are employees of the Ministry of Basic Education obtainable from the Regional Delegate of Basic Education of the Region where they are working.
