  1. KCSE Applicants
  -Average grade of C+ in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
  -In addition, applicants are expected to have obtained at least a grade C+ in each of the cluster subjects in following cluster of subjects in KCSE examinations:

  -Biology/any Group III/any Group IV/any Group V.

  -Mathematics
  b) Group II:

  -Chemistry.
  c) Group III:
  -History and Government,
  -Geography,
  -Christian Religious Education,
  -Islamic Religious Education,
  -Hindu Religious Education.
  d) Group IV:
  -Home Science,
  -Art and Design,
  -Agriculture,
  -Aviation Technology,
  -Computer Studies.
  e) Group V:
  -French,
  -German,
  -Arabic,
  -Music,
  -Business Studies.
  
  2. A-Levels or Equivalent
  -Candidates should have a minimum of two (2) principal passes in Mathematics and Physics and a subsidiary level pass in Chemistry with a credit pass in English at O-Level.
  
  3. Applicants with a Diploma (Technical Education Programme) in Technology Spatial Design and Planning of the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC). or an equivalent qualification.
  
  4. Applicants with a Diploma(Technical Education Programme) in Technology Spatial Design and Planning of the Kenya Polytechnic University College or an equivalent qualification.
