•  Kenyatta University , Nairobi  
  Applicants are expected to hold any of the qualifications below:
  
  (i) Bachelor of Science degree with at least an upper second class
  honours with any of the Biological science disciplines studied to Bachelor of
  Science degree level.
  
  (ii) Bachelor of Education degree who has studied Zoology to degree level
  either as a major or as regular subject and has attained at least an upper second
  class honours degree and has studied another science subject to degree level.
  
  
  (iii) Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Education degree a lower second
  class honours degree and has majored in Zoology may be accepted provided he can
  produce evidence of proven postgraduate research ability.
  
  (iv) Bachelor of science degree must have done minimum of two units of
  immunology and passed with a minimum score of a C.
  
  
  
  Course duration: 2 years
•  Technical University of Kenya, Nairobi  
  Course entry requirements:
  (i) At least a Second Class Honours (Upper Division) degree in Biological or related field of TU-K or its equivalent from a university recognised by the Senate of TU-K OR
  (ii) Second Class Honours (Lower Division) degree in Biological or related field or its equivalent from a university recognised by the Senate of TU-K with either two (2) years relevant work experience OR a postgraduate diploma in relevant field of biology
•  Technical University of Mombasa, Mombasa  
  Course entry requirements:
  -Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences, Genomics, Biological Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, OR other relevant qualifications recognized by the University senate OR Second Class Honours (Lower Division) with at least two (2) years of relevant research and or work experience since graduation.
  
  Course duration: 4 semesters

•  Kisii University, Kisii.
