  (i) Must have passed Biology or Biological Sciences and chemistry in KCSE at a minimum grade of C+. In addition a student must have passed maths or physics / Physical Science with a minimum grade of C. OR
  
  (ii) Have a minimum of 2 principal passes in science subjects in Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education (KACE) OR
  
  (iii) Have a diploma in relevant science subjects and with at least a credit pass from an Institution recognized by the University Senate.
  
  Course duration: 4 years
  or
  1.4 have a diploma in Applied Sciences with at least a credit pass in relevant science subjects from an Institution recognized by the University Senate,

  (i) Direct admission
  -KCSE Mean grade of C+ (plus) or its equivalent. C+ (plus) in Chemistry C+ or B- (Minus) in Physical Science, C+ (plus) in Physics or B- (Minus) in Physical Science, C+ (plus) in Mathematics and Biology or B- (Minus) in Biological Science
  
  (ii) Indirect admission
  -Diploma in Biological Sciences or related field with at least a credit from a college or University recognized by Egerton University Senate OR
  
  - Diploma with a pass and at least two years relevant working experience.
•  South Eastern Kenya University, Kitui  
  Course entry requirements:
  -KCSE Mean Grade C+ (Plus) or KCSE Mean Grade C (Plain) with a Diploma in a relevant field.
