  To be admitted, prospective candidates must have two (2) Principal passes with at least twenty four (24) points in two of the following subjects:

Candidates will also be required to go through a selection interview to establish their fitness for medical training. Candidates who meet the general admission criteria but fail the selection test shall be re-oriented into other programmes

  -Secondary (A Level) or high school diploma
  -National exam scores with an overall aggregate score of at least 60, and at least two principal passes with an aggregate score of at least 24 in the following subject combinations or equivalent:
  (i) Biology-Chemistry-Geography(BCG)
  (ii) Math-Chemistry-Biology (MCB)
  (iii) Physics-Chemistry-Biology (PCB)
  -Strong written and verbal English comprehension

  Minimum entry requirement:
  -The candidate should have followed PCB, MCB, and BCG in Secondary School
  -Biology being the main core –lesson, a student filling the 1st principal must have obtained a passing score in this lesson.
  -The candidate must have obtained an aggregate of at least 40 marks.
  -He/she must have an aggregate of 24 marks in both biology and any other subject in total.
