  Course entry requirements
  
  Direct Entry requirements;
  
  -UACE with at least 1 principal pass in either Biology or Chemistry and a subsidiary pass from the other.
  -UCE with at least 5 passes in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.
  
  Indirect Entry requirements; A Certificate in any of these health related disciplines;
  
  -Nursing/Midwifery
  -Environmental Health Sciences
  -Medical Laboratory Techniques.
  
  Course duration: 3 years
•  Medicare Health Professionals College, Kampala  
  Course entry requirements
  -UACE with principal in Biology and subsidiary pass in Chemistry, plus any other subsidiary pass. Or a certificate in any Health related field e.g. Nursing, Midwifery, that is equivalent to UACE
  
  -At least five credits in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at ordinary level
  
  Program duration: 3 years
