  1. Direct entry
  - Applicants must have completed form VI or its equivalent, with three principal passes in Physics, Chemistry and Biology with a minimum of 8 points. To qualify for admission, one must have at least C grade in Chemistry and Biology and at least D grade in Physics.
  
  2. Equivalent qualifications
  - Applicants who are holders of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with at least Five (5) passes including two credit passes in Chemistry and Biology and a D Grade in Physics PLUS Diploma in Clinical Medicine with an average of B+ or GPA of 3.5, and one MUST have completed A Level
  - Applicants who are holders of BSc degree (Lower second or above) majoring in Physics/Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Zoology
•  Catholic University of Health and Allied Sciences, Mwanza  
  Duration: 5 years
  
  Minimum entry requirements:
  (i) Principal PASS at “D” grade or higher in CHEMISTRY, BIOLOGY and PHYSICS, at ADVANCED (“A”) level. Preference will be given to applicants with “C” grade or above in CHEMISTRY or BIOLOGY. THOSE without Physics should have Principal pass at “C” grade or higher in CHEMISTRY or BIOLOGY and a “D” grade or higher in CHEMISTRY or BIOLOGY [Five points or higher (C + D = 5 points) from two subjects]. For those who completed “A” Level in 2014 and 2015 (B + C = 5 points from two subjects)
  (ii) Holders of Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degrees, from recognized institutions, majoring in BIOLOGY or CHEMISTRY.
  (iii) Equivalent Qualifications: Holders of Diploma in Clinical Medicine with a B+ average in the Diploma.

  - Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with at least five (5) passes including two credit passes in Chemistry and Biology and a D grade in Physics PLUS appropriate Diploma or Advanced Diploma with an average of “B+’’ or GPA of 3.5

  - BSc (lower second) majoring in Physics/Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology /Zoology.

  Direct Entry: Three principal level passes at “C” grade or higher at A-level in the following subjects: Chemistry, Biology and Physics/Mathematics. Preference will be given to applicants with “B” Grade or above in Chemistry or Biology in that order and/or candidates with “D” in Physics/Mathematics at A-Level provided they have “B” or higher in Chemistry or Biology. Equivalent Entry: Diploma in Clinical Medicine with Upper Second Class or Distinction or B+ Average. Or Principal level passes at any grade in Physics/Mathematics, Chemistry or Biology at “A” Level will be an added advantage.

  - Diploma in Clinical Medicine with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0. In addition, an applicant must have a minimum of “D” grade in the following subjects: Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and English at O-Level.
