(i) Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) degree by research work from
University of Nigeria and other accredited universities.
(ii) Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Urban and Regional Planning by research work
from University of Nigeria and other accredited universities.
(iii) Candidates, who hold M.Sc. or MURP degree in Urban and Regional Planning by
project option from accredited universities, will be admitted at the M.Sc. /Ph.D. level in
the first instance and will be eligible to proceed to Ph.D. proper after one year of
successful research work.
(iv) All candidates must have obtained at least a grade average CGPA of B (4 points on a 5-
point scale or its equivalent qualifications) at the Master’s Degree level.
Course duration:
Full-Time: A minimum of 6 Semesters
A maximum of 12 Semesters
Part-Time: A minimum of 8 Semesters
A maximum of 14 Semesters
