•  Lagos State University, Lagos  
  Course entry requirements:
  a. At least 5 credit passes at G.C.E. O/level, WASSCE or NECO.
  b. The 5 credit passes in (i) above should include English, Mathematics plus three of Physics,Chemistry and Biology, Geography and Economics.
  c. The credit passes should not be at more than two sittings.
  d. Grade II Teachers Certificate in related subjects
  e. B.Sc. (Ed.)/B.Ed. Mathematics.
  f. Candidates with Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), in addition to B.Sc. Mathematics,could apply.
  g. Candidates with less than Second Class Lower Division need not apply.
  i. HND holders should not apply.
  
  Course duration: 3 semesters
•  University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Nsukka  
  Course entry requirements:
  -Candidates who hold Bachelor's degrees from approved University must obtain a minimum of second class lower division with a CGPA of 3.5.0 -Candidates with B. Sc Mathematics and PGDE are eligible for admission into M. Ed programme.
  
  Course duration:
  i. A full time Mathematics Education Masters programme shall run for a minimum of 4 semesters and a maximum of 6 semesters,
  ii. Part-time Mathematics Education Masters programme shall run for a minimum of 6 semesters and a maximum of 8 semesters.
  iii. For extension beyond the specified maximum period, a special permission of Senate shall be required.
•  Akwa Ibom State University, Ikot  
  Course entry requirements:
  (a) SSC or its equivalent with credit passes in at least 5 subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics at not more than two sittings.
  (b) Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics Education with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division from a recognized University.
  (c) Candidates with HND in Mathematics from recognized Polytechnics must in addition possess a PGDE at a minimum of Upper Credit Level.
