  Course entry requirements:
  A mean grade of B (Plain) in KCSE and a minimum grade of B (plain) in each of the cluster subjects.
  1. Alternative A: Biology, Chemistry,Physics/Math, English/ Kiswahili
  2. Alternative B: Biological Sciences,Physical Sciences, Maths,English/Kiswahili
  OR
  3. ‘A’ Level: A principal Pass in Biology, Chemistry and a subsidiary pass in Maths/Physics
  4. Diploma in Medical Sciences and a C (plain) KCSE/Division II (KCE) and C+ (Plus) in the cluster points
  shown in (1 & 2). In addition, they should have a credit pass at diploma from a recognized medical training
  institution.
  5. Holders of a degree in Biological Science from Kisii University or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
  6. Holders of other qualifications deemed to be equivalent to 1 – 4 above may be considered.

  (i) Direct admission
  -KCSE mean grade B (Plain). B (plain) in English/Kiswahili, Mathematics/Physics, biology and Chemistry
  
  (ii) Indirect admission
  -Diploma in Clinical Medicine from an institution recognized by Egerton University Senate.
