  -Senior Secondary School applicants seeking admission must have passes in six subjects with an aggregate score of 20 or better in the WASSCE/SSSCE including core subjects such as English, Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies with passes in 3 electives such as Physics, Mathematics, Geography, Literature, French, Economics, Cost Accounting, Business Studies, Business Mathematics, Typing, Clerical Office Duties, Literature in English
  
  -Three passes in Advanced Business Certificate Examinations in addition to five passes in GCE ‘O’ Level or GBCE including English and Mathematics
  Applicants with American Grade 12 school certificate must obtain a minimum of Credits in relevant subjects.
  Holders of GTUC 6-month Certificate Programmes with a minimum Cumulative Weight Average of 80%.
  
  -Five passes in General Business Certificate Examination including English and Mathematics and three passes in Advanced Business Certificate Examination in relevant subjects
  
  -Candidates with GCE Advanced Level must have passes in 3 subjects of which at least one must be grade D.
  
  -Holders of International Baccalaureate (IB).
  
  Mature students
  They must meet the following qualifications:
  -Be at least 25 years of age
  -Have at least three (3) years work experience
  -Have a relevant professional or work experience, or have authored some work in a relevant field.
  -Must have passes in three (3) core subjects’ i.e. English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science plus a pass in any two elective subjects that are relevant to faculty requirements.
  -Must have credits in 5 ‘O’ Level subjects including English Language and Mathematics.

  MATURE STUDENTS
  the applicant must:
  
  Be at least 25 years and above
  
  Show proof of age with birth certificate or any legitimate documentary proof of birth date which is at least 5 years old at the time of application.
  
  Provide introductory letter from employer or show any other proof of employment.
  
  Pass Mature Students’ Entrance Examinations conducted by the institution itself (English Language, Mathematics, General Paper and Aptitude Test).

  HND Holders and Others
  Applicants in this category must have:
  
  At least a second Class Lower or an HND with at least a lower credit.
  
  Students who have completed year 1 of a Nigerian University can be considered for year 1 entry to a Bachelor degree.
  
  An NCE (National Certificate of Education) from a College of Education is also acceptable for entry into year 1 only.

  Admission requirements:
  WASSCE
  Applicants with WASSCE must obtain a minimum of six credit passes (C6) in six subjects (3 core and 3 elective subjects respectively).
  
  SSSCE
  A minimum aggregate score of 24. Applicants must obtain at least a D (4) in six subjects.
  
  GCE ‘O’ and ‘A’ Levels
  Applicants with ´O´ or ´A´ Levels must have Grade 6 or better in five (5) ´O´ level subjects including English, Math and a Science / Arts subject. In addition, they must have passes in 3 subjects, one of the passes should be Grade D or better at the ´A´ Levels.
  
  International Students
  International students with qualifications equivalent to those mentioned above (1-2) may be considered for admission. They must also show evidence of proficiency in English. This includes applicants holding Baccalaureate (IB), IGCSE, GCSE and other external qualifications which have equivalences to the SSSCE, WASSCE and GCE.
  
  Mature Candidates
  Must be Ghanaian nationals, 25 years or above and must pass a mature candidates qualifying examination and interview.
  
  Other Qualifications
  Holders of University of Ghana Diploma or its equivalent, with Final Grade Point Average (FGPA) of 3.25 or better, eligible to apply to the same area of study. Holders of Diplomas in other areas of study must have distinction.
