  Course Entry Requirements:
  - This MSc. Transportation Planning is a 12-calendar month programme which provides participants with advanced knowledge in transportation planning through a multidisciplinary approach. The programme will provide students with knowledge and skills in: analysis of transportation and land use, design and operation of public transportation systems (including system optimization, simulation and modelling), traffic management, transport governance, operations research, road safety, environmental sustainability, logistics and gender issues in transportation.
  - The programme targets young and mid-career professionals specializing or seeking to specialize in Transportation Planning. Graduates of the Programme will fit in the Transportation Departments of the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs); Transportation Ministries;
  Private Transport Operator Organizations; Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning and Urban Planning Firms; and Academic and Research Institutions in Ghana and in Africa.
  - Candidates for the programme must have Bachelor’s degree (minimum of Second Class (Upper Division)) or its equivalent, in Planning, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Geography, Architecture, Building Technology, Construction Management, Development Studies and any field of specialization relevant to the programme from a recognized University.
  - Candidates with B-Tech with at least 2 years’ working experience in the relevant disciplines may be admitted after passing an interview.
  - Candidates with post-graduation experience in industry or research may have an added advantage. All candidates must pass a selection interview before gaining admission.
